Most radical aspect of the ACA

I have taught my Intro to US Health Care System class that the most radical aspect of the ACA is the idea that individuals will be good shoppers for health insurance, primarily because most people have no experience with this type of shopping. Max Stayman, a Duke junior got the message and has an interesting take about his optimism that the once new thing, will become hold hat. Max writes a weekly column on health policy for the Duke student newspaper, The Duke Chronicle, and here is his last installment of last semester on employer sponsored health insurance.

It is very rewarding to see your students take what you taught them and make it their own.
